Please join us on Friday, March 27 from 9am-1pm ET for the 4th annual virtual training institute hosted by the North Carolina Central University, Counselor Education Program, in collaboration with the National Working Positive Coalition.

We’re honored to be joined by leaders from the U.S. community of people living with HIV as our guest speakers and panel moderators. Our keynote guest speaker is Harold Phillips, MRP, the Chief Executive Officer of NMAC, and former Director of the White House Office of National AIDS Policy (ONAP).
Antoinette Jones, Co-Founder of The Dandelion’s Movement, and National Field Organizer of Positive Women’s Network-USA, is the panel moderator for, “Employment and Mental Health Related Needs and Strategies Unique to Lifetime HIV Survivors or People Who Acquired HIV at Very Young Ages.”
Larry Bryant, Jr., Staff Generalist, Greater Heights Clubhouse, Brooklyn Community Services, is the panel moderator for, “The Intersections of Employment and Mental Health: Counseling Needs and Experiences of Black People Living with HIV.”
Martha Cameron, Research Specialist, Georgetown University, Director, International Community of Women Living with HIV-North America, Commissioner, Washington, DC Regional Planning Commission on Health and HIV, is the panel moderator for, “Reports from the 2026 Research Literature Review Project: Studies Related to HIV and Employment.”
This event is designed for counseling students, faculty, and alumni of HBCUs, as well as service providers, advocates, and allies across the HIV and vocational rehabilitation services fields.
