National HIV and Employment Resource Center

The National HIV and Employment Resource Center is a centralized online hub of information on key topics related to employment for people living with HIV or reasons for HIV prevention, service providers, advocates, policymakers, researchers, educators and others.

 

The Resource Center is designed to expand access to employment, economic, educational, and individually developmental opportunities for people and communities impacted by HIV.​

This section explains laws that can protect people living with HIV and other disabilities against employment discrimination. It also explores the issue of disclosure of HIV status at work.

The HIV and Employment Resource Center has been developed from the groundbreaking foundation of the Phoenix Rising HIV/AIDS Re-entry Project, created by Michael G. Smith.
