Mark Misrok, MS Ed, Executive Director

Mark is Executive Director and a co-founder (in 2003) of the National Working Positive Coalition (NWPC), and is a long-term HIV survivor. He has worked since 1995 in direct service delivery, capacity building, research and advocacy to strengthen responses to employment-related needs of people living with or at greater vulnerability to HIV. Mark served as a writer in the development of a suite of resources on HIV and employment for the U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP), and the online training curriculum, Getting To Work, for HIV and housing services providers, for ODEP in partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of HIV/AIDS Housing. Born in Mississippi and raised in Alabama, he’s a member of the U.S. People Living with HIV Caucus Steering Committee.
