Charles Shazor Jr., SME

Charles is a national public health leader and HIV subject matter expert with over 17 years of experience advancing health equity, workforce development, and community-led systems change. Now serving as Director of Training and Education at the National Working Positive Coalition, where he leads national training initiatives that strengthen employment equity, leadership development, and advocacy for people living with HIV. Previously, Charles served as Director of Engagement Strategy at Snow Companies (Omnicom Health), developing patient-centered engagement strategies for global pharmaceutical clients by integrating data-driven insights with lived patient perspectives. Earlier, he led comprehensive HIV prevention programs at the LGBT Life Center as the Director of Community Health Programs and directed national community engagement efforts as the Director to End the Epidemics at NMAC. As a proud person of color living openly with HIV since 2013, Charles brings both professional expertise and lived experience to his work. He is deeply committed to building leadership, advancing dignity in the workplace, and driving sustainable, community-centered change.
